Hik Device Gateway
The Face Sync App synchronizes the cardholder photos in GP10 with those on a HikVision face recognition camera (tested on a DS-K1T673DWX) should work with all supported devices in the HIK device gateway.
The HIK device gateway is a piece of softrware provided by HikVision which provides a Gateway to connect Hikvision products and third-party systems for data transmission, through LAN or WAN.

All face camera will need to be added to this portal as this provide the face sync app a single point of reference.
See example below of adding a camera to the gateway portal
adding a device will require the following parameters:
Once the required camera are added then you can move on to setting up the face sync application
Running the the face sync
Download and unzip the attached Build_HIK_Full_Face_Sync.zip
once extracted you will see a list of files.
HIK_Full_Face_Sync is the executable and main_config.toml is the configuration file.
The configuration file needs to edited to point to your HIK Device gateway "HIK_HOST" also the username and password HIK_USER, HIK_PWD
Where
PAUSE_ON_EXIT = false
you can change to
PAUSE_ON_EXIT = true
and save.
This will prevent multiple windows staying open after a daily sync has run. In this file you can also set your connection parameters to GuardPoint 10.
Operating in GP10
If a image is added to a cardholder through GP10 and then the sync software is run, it will be uploaded on to the HikVision camera/s.
If the cardholder photo is any larger than 200kb than the HIK_Full_Face_Sync.exe will automatically resize it accordingly.
If the photo is not of a person the photo will not be downloaded/accepted until the photo is replaced with that of a person.
To remove the photo from the camera the cardholder record must be deleted.
GP10 uses a field called cf_Boolfield_5 to know which cardholders have had the photo successfully downloaded. This can be added as a custom fields if you want to toggle or re-download photos etc.
Automating Via Global Reflex:
Navigate in GuardPoint 10 to Setup/GlobalReflex
Set up a new Trigger Event and Action, for example you can link a schedule to run daily with a .exe file, in this case the HIK_Full_Face_Sync.exe
Set your preferred schedule and then find the path to the extracted folder HIK_Full_Face_Sync.exe, it might be something like:
When the file is being run by global reflex or manually, a window will appear:
