GuardPoint10 Software

GuardPoint10 is a software solution that utilizes a server-client structure. It is designed to run on a local SQL Express 2016 SP1 database, but it is also compatible with other SQL Server options on your network. The installation process for GuardPoint10 is easy and straightforward, as long as the necessary prerequisites are met. The software can be installed in either server or client mode from the GuardPoint10 setup mode. It is important to note that some antivirus programs may interfere with the installation process, so it is recommended to temporarily disable the antivirus software during the installation. Before installing, please ensure that your system meets the requirements, and that all available Microsoft Windows updates have been completed.

Requirements

Please ensure the following requirements are met and any available Microsoft Windows updates are completed before attempting the install

Server Installation on Host Server	Minimum Requirement adapted for medium-sized installations
Processor	Intel Xeon E3-1270 v5, 3.60GHz, 4 cores with 8 threads (8 virtual cores), 8MB Cache or compatible
Memory	8GB RAM
Hard drive	Solid State Drive (SSD) with 20GB of free space
Graphics hardware	Graphics device and monitor are not necessary if the GUI is not used
Network Interface Card	Ethernet adapter capable of at least 100Mbit throughput
Operating system	Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or later
Available TCP ports	7654, 4567, 4568, 8765, 5678, 5679, 49999

Server or Client on Workstation	Minimum Requirement adapted for medium-sized installations
Processor	Intel Core i7-6700, 3.4GHz, 4 cores with 8 threads (8 virtual cores), 8MB SmartCache or compatible
Memory	8GB RAM
Hard drive	Solid State Drive (SSD) with 20GB of free space
Graphics hardware	Graphics device and monitor capable of Full HD (1920 x 1080) or higher
Network Interface Card	Ethernet adapter capable of at least 100Mbit throughput
Operating system	Microsoft Windows 10 Version 1909 or higher, Windows 11 version 21H2 or higher
Available TCP ports	Server: 7654, 4567, 4568, 8765, 5678, 5679, 49999 Client: 4568, 5679

It is important to note that in order for the GuardPoint10 installation to be successful, Internet Information Services (IIS) must be configured on the server machine prior to installing the software.

Visitor Client on Workstation	Minimum Requirement
Graphics hardware	Graphics device and monitor capable of Full HD (1920 x 1080) or higher
Network Interface Card	Ethernet adapter capable of at least 100Mbit throughput
Browser	An up-to-date version of Chrome

SQL Server	Minimum Requirement
Version	MS SQL Server 2016 SP1 or later
