GP10 Customized Time & Attendance report

Introduction

You may need to print/export a T&A report containing more information than the standard T&A report.

To that end, we have designed this external tool to help you customize your T&A report.

Configuration

1. Define the Entrance readers and the Exit readers in GuardPoint 10 from the Reader setting screen.
2. Configure using the port 49999 as static port for SQL server:
3. Restart the SQL server
4. Download the tool from this link
5. Extract all the files in a folder
6. Open the 'appsettings.json' file with Notepad
7. Update the connection string to both GuardPoint 10 databases

Report generating

1. Launch the 'TA888.exe' tool
2. A window should open and you should see the list of cardholders.
   If it's not the case, check the DB connection string in the 'appsettings.json' file.
3. Press 'Preview access Records' button to load the data.
   The tool displays only the events generated from the readers that have been previously defined as Entrance reader or Exit reader.
4. Press 'Preview TA Records' button and then the 'Preview' button to preview the report.
5. The report should appear.
   You may print/export the report.

Notes

1. A 'log.txt' file is automatically created in the application folder.
2. If necessary, you may edit the report template by opening the Report called - TA888.trdx - with the tool located in 'C:\Program Files (x86)\GuardPoint10\Gui\Designer\Telerik.ReportDesigner.exe'.
   Do not forget to save it after your modifications.
