If you are having issues with connecting to GP10 via a work station please ensure the correct port is set with SQL Server Configuration Manager to do this, please see the below steps.

Please see the below on how to add in the SQL port to allow the client to connect to the server.

  1. On the Server machine open SQL Server Configuration Manager
  2. Expand SQL Server Network  Configuration
  3. Select Protocols for AC8SQL
  4. Right click on TCP/IP
  5. Select the tab IP Address
  6. Scroll to the bottom to find IPALL
  7. Under TCP Port set this to 49999
  8. Click apply

You will then need to restart the SQL service which also can be done from Server Configuration Manager > SQL Server Services

  1. Select SQL Server Services
  2. Select SQL Server (AC8SQL)
  3. Right click
  4. Select Restart
