Managing Access with Multiple Access Groups in GuardPoint10

Step 1: Set Up Profile Permissions

  1. Go to the Profiles window.

  2. Locate the option “Manage Multiple Access Groups.”

  3. Enable this option to define which Access Groups are visible and assignable for users linked to this profile.

    • This limits what access groups a user can manage, improving control and security.

Step 2: Assign Profile to a User

  1. Go to the Users window.

  2. Select or add the user you want to manage.

  3. Under their settings, assign the appropriate Profile (configured in Step 1).

Step 3: View Assignable Access Groups

  • In the same user window, you’ll see a checkbox: “Show Multiple Access Groups Data.”

  • Tick this box to view and confirm which Access Groups the user is allowed to assign.

    • These groups are based on the limits defined in the user’s Profile
